Y'all Venus's Capricorn cycle + the South Node in Scorpio in 2022 are not here to play.

They are asking us to shed those old fears, meet those shadows + shades within, heal the wounded ones, and feel the feelzzzz.

AND. AND. AND. magnetize through our authenticity, step into the true power that is natural to our being (ahem, not "control" and "domination" playing dress up as power, but true actual power, which we always are, have, and can never be taken from us).

What if inner authority is the power write (author) the story of your own life from within? What would you write?

Also, key! Authenticity is about expressing the truth to ourselves and living in alignment with that. It doesn't mean showing all our cards all the time or tell-all-ing it across the social spaces. (Though we can!)

Sometimes holding an unfolding experience or inner truth extra close – without expression but to yourself – is the most potent path of inner alchemy.

— How might I ensure that I don't take on that which is beyond my capacity in the coming year? How will I know when I am at capacity? How will I honor my limits? How will I expand to my full embodiment of what it is I am here to BE?

Neptune + Jupiter in Pisces are a key 2022 signature. This year is all about reclaiming imagination, intuition, dreaming, wonder(ing), creativity, envisioning, non-ordinary states of consciousness, + high-heart way of Knowing.

The old way has been characterized by mind-dominance + devaluing the other ways of Knowing: through senses, feelings (energy + emotions), and imagery.

We've begun to reclaim the sensory, through embodiment (also SO VERY KEY this year), + the intelligence of our feelings, but we still have much to remember + reclaim about the wisdom accessible to us through imagery.

INVITATION:
Spend some time getting quiet + begin to imagine what kind of world you'd like to live in. What do people do? How do they live? What is nourishing? What matters? Take your time. Allow imagery to show you something, don't let your mind lead the practice. (Let your mind be the scribe not the leader.)

The shadow of much 2022 astro-energy is a lure into escapism.

We might feel challenged by the intensity of transformation + seek the check-out aisles that take us away from being here.

We might judge the human experience as less than and seek for some truth that is not here now.

But we are meant to be here now. As crazy as it is, as heartbreaking and confusing, WE ARE HERE. The way through is THROUGH, through the body, through the feels, through the mess of this human life.

We must dare to go deeper. Under the ejection buttons of your being lie deep longings. Aches for a more beautiful world your soul Knows. To dare to allow these longings life is to dare to live more fully, more wholly.

This is the astrological ask of 2022. Go deep enough through the ache to find the ecstasy. (Note: real ecstasy, not the false bliss lure of bypass)

REFLECTION QUESTIONS

— What are your primary paths of escape?

— How do you numb yourself?

— What have you buried so you don't have to feel it?

— What beliefs do you hold about why these are all necessary?

— How might you resource yourself to be ready to journey to these places from which you've hidden?

— What is the bigger, deeper, more meaningful experience you might reach toward?

It's not easy this in-and-through process. The de-numbing process takes grit. Galaxies of courage. And on the other side is a life worth living.

"I invest more of my powerful energy into building the life + world I want to live in, rather than focusing on what no longer serves me or Life.

I notice my nostalgia + preference for some things to be different, but I do not let them occupy primary residence in me.

I make more space for YES."

We're not going back, babes. The world we knew before is now a memory. Desperate attempts to hit the eject button in an attempt to "go back to normal" are futile. This is death-rebirth, global transformation.

Re-orient. Grieve the past. Grieve what hurts. Let your unrest fuel you toward what is good + true.

This year is a choice point. Will you continue to stare into the flames of the dying world that can no longer support the Beings we are here to Be? Will you let lament consume you?

Can you let your NO guide you to your YES, + have courage to cross that bridge?

This is the fulcrum year, where we begin to invest more of our potent energy into creating the more beautiful world we know is possible.

It's not going to be easy, but we have everything we need. We do.

I received a message earlier this year from my Soul Team showing me just how much change humanity is walking toward right now + glimpses of the world on the other side of this transformation.

My response: That is A LOT to walk as humans, how will we do it? How will we avoid experiencing trauma in this turbulent transition?

Their fierce and clear answer: you will use your tools. You will help each other.

It's like that loves. This is not an easy time to walk on human feet. But we are supported, by Earth, by the Cosmos, by Great Mystery, by Love, by each other. Keep finding the truth in that.

Let's build brighter.

Be fierce. Be gentle. Focus your incredible creative energy on what is Beautiful.

In a few weeks, the nodes will shift their axis into Taurus-Scorpio, with Scorpio on the South Node, the origin point from which we collectively travel for the next 18 months toward the North Node in Taurus.

I say more about this HERE, but basically, the epic process of transformation continues worldwide, and we are being asked to continue to meet our fears and intense feelings.

This shift asks us to shed unhealthy Scorpionic patterns of destructive power dynamics, toxic secrets, the inability or unwillingness to feel fully, inorganic fears, personal disempowerment, over-attachment to outcome, + the use of punishment as a means to control.

The US Pluto Return begins next month, bringing a massive double brew of this alchemical soup to our bowls.

It's helpful to remember this is a time of unveiling, where things may seem to be getting worse but perhaps they are being seen clearly for the first time. Doesn't make it easy.

So we continue to find generative and creative ways to care for ourselves. We don't do it alone. We find pleasure in the body + with this earth, and a renewed sense of aliveness.

We have the courage to face what is before us, without collapse and without denial.

We learn to surrender and trust deeper than we have before.

While this mantra could be true for human life in general and especially during such uncertain times as these, it holds ever more true with the strong Neptunian/Piscean energies of 2022.

Most of the outer planets initiate through an "opposite day" kind of approach (remember Opposite Day from grade school?). They do the opposite of their function first.

Neptune's initiatory function is to empty us of what we think we know so that we have room for new dreams and visions to emerge. He takes away clarity – casting a fog of confusion – before bringing in the new knowing.

So it's okay if things are a little unclear or confusing this year. No resolutions or clear annual plans? That's really just fine. What's the next step you see? Can you follow that?

What Neptune teaches us, if we are willing to apprentice with this Watery One, is to trust the present moment.

I liken it to driving through thick fog.

You might not be able to see too far ahead, but if you focus on that next part of the road you can see, you can take the whole journey that way.

Neptune cycles are like Walkabouts, we're meant to get a little lost, to have a good wander. Our culture doesn't have much of a stomach for wandering lost, but it's where the very best of life could happen to you.

So how might you allow yourself to get a little lost this year?

"I lean into radical Trust as much as possible in finding my way. And draw nourishment from a greater guiding force.

I develop a relationship to FAITH – Focused Attention In The Heart – as a way through."

We're being asked this year to anchor into trust and faith (Focused Attention in the Heart). This isn't Polyanna Bypasser trust, but true gritty courageous soul trust in the greater forces of life guiding our existence at this time of massive transformation.

Neptune (a big collective cosmic initiator of 2022) is about the High Heart. Venus is embarking upon a journey of anchoring into deep Heart Wisdom this year. Further, it's a water-dominant year, elementally, inviting us deeper into the experience of the heart + feelings (which includes emotions and energy)

And so we are being called into deeper Trust and Faith, as anchored in and emanating from the heart (not the mind).

You might notice that images of Mother Mary and Jesus are often pointing to the illuminated heart (the Sacred Heart). If taken into a context wider + deeper than religion, this enduring symbolism holds a wisdom code for humanity: the way through is through the heart. We are asked to activate this code within right now. To remember and embody it.

I did a video here last year about the wisdom of the heart. How the heart is pre-cognitive and knows things before the mind has registered them.

The heart operates on the principles of coherence and entrainment. The heart knows our interconnection with all life, and our connection to Great Mystery.

We are asked to tap into this heart wisdom this year. This requires presence and attunement to What Is. Dropping doom and gloom thought programs to open to the Bigger Story. Willingness to pierce through below the surface to the heart-truth of things.

What becomes possible when you lead from the heart's wisdom of trust and faith? What do you discover if you journey to the center of your own Sacred Heart?

When it's hard to be an Earthling, we often want to run, to fantasize about a better world somewhere else (another planet, heaven, disembodied –– up in the mind, or anywhere else –– or zoned out in a distraction/addiction of your choice).

We've had a long spiritual legacy that has praised an up-and-out of the body path of transcendence AS the way to Go(d).

But how's that going?

What if it's actually about diving IN and THROUGH the body, choosing to wholeheartedly + whole bodily embrace the human experience, that we come to find our own divinity and our own version of heaven on earth?

Earth is not an angry God, she is not a planetary consciousness rooted in punishment, soul exile, or cruel retribution. She is a planet of love, beauty + abundance.

We are here to remember that. To ally with her, these bodies she shares with us, and the sustenance + nurturance she so generously offers them.

We have a right to be here.
In our bodies.
If we are seeking spiritual power + growth there is no place else to look, but to what IS right now, here in the body and all aspects of our lived experience.

The North Node in Taurus is asking us to find pleasure, delight, and enjoyment in embodiment. For Taurus, the whole reason to bring spirit into form is to ENJOY it.
