Case Study: The real impact of astrology
The following is a (lightly edited) transcript of a conversation I recently had with one of my longterm clients. I share it with you here to give you a glimpse into the way astrological readings can impact a person’s journey. In particular, the impact it has when you know what cycles (astrological transits you are in). The video interview is below.
Jaime:
Great. Hello there. I'm so happy that you are joining us.
I am here with a dear friend and client Allie, and she is here to share with us a little bit about what it's like to know more about her astrology, and specifically about the transits, or cycles or periods of time that she's in right now. So I'll let Allie take it away.
Allie:
Yeah, I'm so excited to talk about this topic, because it's provided so much context and peace around a very chaotic and up-and-down time in my life where I am traversing multiple cycles. When you and I first were chatting about doing this call, I thought back to the first time you and I connected, which was in Asheville, on a women's retreat. I was fortunate enough, I can say that now, to be sort of “on the brink” of this really long in-depth transition period.
Allie:
And so there was something intuitive about your presence, about your offering of doing a reading, and I'm so, so glad that I did, because I’ve come back to that first session throughout the past year, particularly, as a roadmap to really just understand what to expect, what really is going on for me, and a lot of grounding in riding the waves of what particularly this year has been.
I very much felt everything you described in that session, but to see it on paper, to see it mapped out, for someone to tell me, "What you're experiencing makes sense. This is why you're experiencing it, and this is where you're headed. And also here's some suggestions on how to kind of move forward with all this and really create that lasting change," again, for me, has been so transformational and has really allowed me to make the change, and create different patterns that some of my alignment, and chart is asking for me from this year.
Allie:
You know, this year still has been up and down; but in the right way. And I think when things have gotten more chaotic, or hasn't fully made sense, I've returned to you for an additional session, and I've always walked away with just so much more clarity and renewal, and again, a really clear understanding of the pattern that I'm in, and how to use the chaos as growth.
I think I've walked away feeling like I'm a lotus, sort of above the pond instead of drowning in my own internal patterns. I think also you've offered some really key terms that have done the same thing, even in the moment of what I'm experiencing.
So for example, that word, "shedding" for me has been something that I come back to over and over again, because there's been these patterns and things that have come up that from my old life that I've needed to shed to get rid of, to transform into something higher, to be able to move forward. And I think without that context and word, it would be confusing, I wouldn't have as much understanding really on how to move forward. And so, I would say it's been instrumental for my transition. I don't know that I would have made all of these lasting changes without the roadmap that Shamanic Astrology really provided for me.
Jaime:
Amazing Allie, thank you so much for sharing that. Yeah, I've seen and witnessed you. It's been such an honor to just witness you as you move through these transitions, these periods of time in your life with more consciousness and with, it feels like more embodiment and , just more like, "I've got this and I'm actually steering the ship, rather than being kind of tossed about in the waves." So I really honor that in you.
Allie:
Yeah. I think it also removed a good amount of the fear component of holding me back from making these changes, because it provided that deeper understanding. I think there was some layer of intuitive knowing that I was going through these things, but again, to have you say, "Here's what you could potentially expect," or I love it when you say, "Oh yeah, that makes sense; this is where you are." And so, it allowed me to be a bit more creative, and adventurous, and take more risk in shedding, and creating new patterns, with support and understanding.
Jaime:
Amazing, amazing Allie. Well, thank you so much for taking the time to share your experience with me and with us.
